Patience....not my virtue.

Why is it so hard for me to be patient? I used to be the most patient person I know. I thought I would be a patient mother, but I am so not that!! HAHA! I find myself getting more and more irriated with "stupid" people and people who make trouble for other people out of trivial things. I wish that God would zap me with the patience wand again because I don't like the person/mommy that I have been the last several months. Maybe our vacation is long over due. Thank goodness we only have 3 weeks until we leave. I am hoping my sanity will hold out until then. Maybe when we come home, I will be more patient with Mason and not so quick to jump on him for getting into things that a norml 3 year old does. I love my children so much, but feel as though I am failing them as a mother. Even though I stay home with them, I feel as though I am not doing enough for them. Does anyone else feel that way? Maybe it is just me.

Working one day a week is great. I love it! I love helping out with problem solving and being there for the people I work with. However, I am so annoyed with some recent things that has happened, not necessarily the fault of the people I work with.

I really need that vacation!! :) I bet all of you do too after reading this!! Thank you if you have read this far!!!

It comes with Motherhood...

Kevin got home early this morning (1:00 a.m.) from getting seed out in Kansas for replant. He and my Dad drove 5.5 hours each way to south of Wichita to pick up a couple pallets of corn from Kevin's old district. I was awakened at 2:30 a.m. by Mason who wanted to crawl in bed with us. I knew something was up because he was a little shaky. Mommy's intuition was right. He had vomited in his bed, and proceeded to get sick 3 more times before 6:30 a.m. this morning. He had a bath at 4:30 a.m. and 3 p.j. changes. I also had the Rainbow going at 4:30 this morning cleaning the carpets. Thank goodness he is back to himself. It is amazing how resiliant he is. We have tried to keep him "low key" today, but you know how it is with boys.....:) He is good to go. I was also able to get a "present" from Reagan first thing this morning which prompted me to put her in the bathtub first thing this morning. I am running on 30 minutes of sleep since 2:30 and I am so ready for bed!! But, first, I gotta watch the All-Star NASCAR race!!!

I am so tired, but it all comes with motherhood...and I wouldn't change it for anything!

Outdoor fun at Grandma's!!!

Mason and Reagan were playing so well together at at my Mom and Dad's last weekend. Reagan liked to chew on the Lincoln Logs and throw them back in the bucket. I guess they didn't taste very good to her!

Ms. Reagan now pulls up on EVERYTHING! This was taken last week while she was watching "Handy Manny." Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is very popular in our house!

Mason playing outside at Grandma and Grandpa Klein's. He loves to play on all the outside toys!

Grandma and Mason. He has her wrapped around his finger! He is such a Grandma's boy and will pull her around everywhere! But, Mom enjoys every minute of it!
