2009 Cooper County Fair
We took the kids to the fair this year for the first time since Mason was 8 months old. We entered both kids in the fair, but they didn't win in either category. I was disappointed in the judging and figured I would not put Reagan through it again. I am happy for Bryce Wassmann placing 2nd!!! Congratulations Dale and Ashley!! After the baby contest, we took Mason to ride rides. This is first time he ever rode any rides anywhere and he LOVED it!! Kevin bought him an arm band and was able to ride the rides with Mason for free. Our niece Haley even came with Glenn and Donna and rode some rides with Mason and Kevin. I was able to ride the scrambler with Haley and had a GREAT time!! Here are some pictures!!

Miscellaneous pictures..from June.
Water Boy
Adam Sandler's "Waterboy" has nothing on Mason. This child LOVES water. I mean he L-O-V-E-S water. I was finishing up mowing the yard one night at 9:00 p.m. and come around the corner of the house to find Mason - in his pajama's, in his pool, with Daddy just shaking his head at him. I just had to laugh. He is so cute when he is in the "poo-wah". We find out that it is great occupational therapy for him. It calms him down and relaxes him. Here are a few pictures. They are not that great because it was getting dark and I couldn't adjust the camera quick enough! Enjoy, my water boy!

July 2009
Summer always seems to be busy for everyone. We are not an exception. This month we are busy with birthday's and anniversaries. Donna celebrated her birthday on July 6. Reagan's birthday was July 9. Today marks Christy and Jim's 4 year wedding anniversary. July 22 is Derek and April's 14th anniversary.
Today marks our 16th anniversary of our first date. Yes, we have been together that long! Half of our lives! YIKES, that makes me feel old! Tomorrow marks our 10 year wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe because it seems like only yesterday we were getting married! It has been a wonderful 10 years, filled with a lot of fun and 2 beautiful children.
We are truly blessed!!!
Happy Anniversary today and tomorrow, Kevin. I love you!

Happy 1st Birthday Reagan!!
Has it really been a year already? It seems like only yesterday I found out I was pregnant with Reagan. In fact, it was November 9, 2007. She is a true miracle. Kevin, Mason, and I are so blessed to have Reagan in our life. We celebrated her birthday several days early. We had a barbeque with family and friends on the 4th of July. We opened her presents on July 5, because she was so tired and went to bed early on Saturday night. Her actual birthday is July 9.

Vacation 2009
Kevin and I were able to get away June 9-18 for vacation sans kids. We went to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC, Savannah and Atlanta, GA and the last night of vacation we stayed in Memphis. We had a great time just the two of us. We enjoyed 3 days at Myrtle Beach where we feasted on some great seafood. We also went to Ripley's Aquarium while we were there. We were able to visit some plantations and Civil War sites. We were able to see Boone Hall Planation, where the mini-series "North and South" was filmed. It was nice to have time to just the two of us, however, it was even better to get home to the kids! I told Kevin the next time we go on vacation we should just stay all week at Myrtle Beach. I enjoyed doing absolutely nothing but lounging in the pool and walking the beach with Kevin.
